Onto the downstairs....

Starting with the living room! When you come in from the porch, you enter this front room. As you can seem it was VERY yellow when we first saw it - But definitely a bright room and a very nice size.


It is really a great space - lots of potential! Especially looking forward to using that fireplace!


Kinda looked like it might be cool up close, but alas, it all had to come off...


First step was the panelling on the ceiling. Luckily it popped right off. Wasn't terrible, but we wanted to start fresh!


We get a preview of what our mantel might look like...


So naturally these bricks all had to come off! This is why we need to always have projects to do during these renovations for everyone involved! ;)


But that's OK! It cleans up nicely. Ready for some new tile!


All the wallpaper is down... Now what?!


This room is now also serving as a staging area for all drywall, tools, and other miscellaneous items. I fear they will be here for ever!!
